Maverick was the sweetest, most gentle, loving, and playful Doberman with a heart of gold and a happy personality. Like any other loving parent, I wanted to keep him safe and give him a long, joyful life.
He received the heartworm pill, Ivermectin, diligently every month since he was a puppy until his very last month believing that it was a "medicine" as so many other people believe. I did not learn that it was a pesticide until a month before he passed. Had I known or been advised that Ivermectin was a pesticide that can cause cancer and other disease when administered over a prolonged period, I would have stopped giving it to him.
In February 2019, Maverick developed an itch and so I mistakenly took him to the veterinarian where they prescribed even more pesticides called Fluralaner (aka Bravecto), manufactured by Merck & Co., the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved pesticide for animal consumption. I also believed it to be a "medicine," not realizing that it was also a pesticide. In fact, it is so much pesticide (a 3 month dose) in one large pill and so potent that he became sick for 2 to 3 days, vomiting, going lame, and developing a swollen and bloody paw. Panicked, I called the veterinarian asking if they could pump his stomach, but they said it was too late. The pesticide would already be in his bloodstream by now.
I was relieved when three months had passed after taking the pesticide pill and he had not died like so many others did during that three month period. In retrospect, however, as his parent I now realize those were his body's symptoms that all of the pesticides he had been given were activating cancer within his precious body; and I put it there. Now with two different pesticides flowing through his blood, Maverick didn't stand a chance. He trusted me, took it from my hand, swallowed it, and later they wreaked havoc on his internal organs, caused him so much pain, and 10 months later ended his beautiful life.
Knowing that my brother's life had been saved with a homeopathic cancer cure illegal in the United States, I had searched and called all around the continent to find a homeopathic cancer treatment that could save my little boy. It was hard enough searching for those that treated humans, but even those abroad were not certain how to treat a dog. Had an official bias toward these plant-based or more natural treatments been accepted and promoted long ago, perhaps there would have been homeopathic hospitals and doctors everywhere that I could have taken my little boy to, to try and save his life, or at least make my own informed decision between the two methods of cancer treatment.
Allopathic medicine has vehemently quashed any scientist's attempts at bringing forward a homeopathic cure and have invested billions of dollars researching chemicals when various homeopathic cancer and disease cures have already been discovered and are administered around the world. Why does the cure for cancer and other diseases have to be a chemical?
